Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Tiktokdow ("we", "us") collects when you use our website, how we use it, and the choices you have. Tiktokdow is operated by DGclicks, India. Contact: tiktokdowonline@gmail.com.

The short version

  • You don't need an account, and we never ask for your TikTok login.
  • We don't store the videos or sounds you download, and we don't keep a history of your downloads.
  • We keep short-lived technical logs to keep the service secure and working.
  • We use Google services for analytics and advertising, which use cookies — only with your consent where the law requires it.

Information we process

Links you paste. When you submit a TikTok link, our servers use it to fetch the public media for that post. We don't link the URL to your identity. We may keep a URL in an error log for up to 7 days when a download fails, so we can fix the problem.

Technical data. Like every website, our servers receive your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. We use a one-way hashed version of your IP address for rate limiting and abuse prevention, and keep these logs for up to 7 days.

Ratings. If you rate the service after a download, we store the star rating with a hashed identifier to prevent duplicate votes. It isn't linked to your identity.

Emails. If you email us, we receive your email address and your message, and keep them as long as needed to respond and for our records (no longer than 24 months).

Preferences. Your light/dark theme choice is stored in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

We use:

  • Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used (pages visited, device type, approximate region). IP addresses are not stored in full.
  • Google AdSense to show ads that keep the service free. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings and learn more at How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

If you're in the UK, the European Economic Area or Switzerland, we ask for your consent through a consent banner before setting non-essential cookies. You can change your choice at any time via the Privacy settings link in the footer. Some US states give you the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising; use the same link to do so.

How we use information

To provide and secure the service, prevent abuse, fix errors, understand usage, show ads, and respond to you. Where GDPR applies, our legal bases are legitimate interests (security, service operation), consent (analytics and advertising cookies) and, for contact messages, steps you ask us to take.

Sharing

We don't sell your personal information for money. We share data only with service providers that help us run the site — hosting and content delivery (Railway, Cloudflare), Google (analytics and advertising), a third-party download service that helps us look up the post behind a link you paste (it receives that link, and the files are then streamed to you) and our email provider — and when the law requires it.

International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country. Where required, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, to object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. Email tiktokdowonline@gmail.com to make a request. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

Tiktokdow isn't directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we don't knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

We'll update this page when our practices change and revise the "Last updated" date above.
